What type of paint is used for face painting?

Bee Lu Facepainting uses Tag Bodyart and Diamond FX Body Paint. Tag’s ingredients are paraffin wax, petrolatum, glycerin, calcium carbonate, stearyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, acacia senegal gum, dextrin, water. Diamond DX uses paraffin wax petrolatum, glycerine, calcium carbonate, stearyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol ethylhexylglycerin, disodium EDTA, sodium benzoate, acacia senegal, dextrin, water.

How can I remove facepaint?

Done pretending? Okay! Facepaint is easily removed by water and soap. Some pigments will need makeup remove or medical alcohol to remove it from the skin.

What types of glitter is used?

We use the brand “Festival Glitter’ which is made with Water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Iodopropynyl, Butylcarbamate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Polyethylene, Terephthalate, Aluminium, Polyurethane. May contain trace of colorant: D&C Red 7 FD&C Yellow 5 FD&C Blue 27 Violet 19 Iron Oxide. Festival Glitter is made in USA, using cosmetic grade, polyester glitter and can be safely used anywhere on your skin and face. Should not be used near eyes or over eyelids.

Is Facepaint tested on animals?

Tag and Diamond does not test on animals and considered vegan. So you can become a puppy knowing no animals were hurt in the process!

What if I’m allergic to facepaint?

Facepaint is dermatologist tested and approved to use on all types of skin. However, if you start to feel itchy or notice irritation, remove immediately with soap and water.
